Elodie Anridhoini, 19, of village Chirongui elected Miss Mayotte 2009

The new ambassador of the island charm of the lagoon has been elected Miss 2009 named Elodie Mayotte Anridhoini. Aged 19 years, measuring 1m75, Chirongui residing in a village southwest of Mayotte, she succeeds Esthel Born, Miss Mayotte in 2008 and third runner-up of Miss France 2009.
Born in Paris, Elodie has lived his youth on the island. She is currently in 2nd year of BTS family economy and social Toulouse.
This election took place two days before the start of Ramadan, which this year falls Saturday, August 22 and four days before the start of the 2009/2010 school year, Monday, August 24.
For its part, the meeting chose Kim Hoa Barutaut for Miss Reunion 2009.
They both participate in the election of Miss France to be held in Nice, December 5 this year.
