La passe S (cène): first professional festival of contemporary dance and theater

Host for the 1st time in Mayotte troops dance and theater from the other islands of the Comoros (Theater Djumbé ..), Madagascar (Tahala Company), Réunion (Valérie Berger, dramatic center of the Indian Ocean ... ) Mozambique (Mutembela theater) and the mainland (Company "Les inachevés" dance troupe "Team-shake" ...): this was the challenge of the cultural department of the General Council of Mayotte!
Mayotte artists will also participate, of course, with the AJA troops - who will perform the piece Nassur Attoumani: "Interview with a stiff" - and "Children of Mabawa" and the "ballet of Mayotte.
The festival lasts 15 days, from 15 to 30 August 2008. It takes place on three sites: Acou (Maison des Jeunes et de la Culture-MJC), Kani-Keli (MJC) and Mamoudzou (MJC).
Opening August 15 with a carnival on the theme of the sea and navigation, which will start from the MJC of Kani Bé à 16h.
