Jokwe is strengthened during the day to become a tropical cyclone of category 1 / 5 on the Saffir Simpson scale.
A local 15 hours it was located 190 km east-southeast of Mayotte.
The cyclone is moving west southwest at an average speed of 24km / h.
The cyclone continued to move closer to Mayotte, even if it should move to the South.
