Mayotte: one hotel is concerned with is renovation passed under the law for the economic development of Overseas

Since 28 May 2009 until 31 December 2017, aid is created for the renovation of hotels in the overseas territories of Mayotte and Saint-Martin and Saint-Pierre and Miquelon.

The aid is determined by decree, after consultation with local professionals and based on the classification of the hotel. This amount can not exceed 7 500 € per room to renovate, in the limit of 100 rooms (the bill provided, initially, a grant of 5 000 € per room, limited to 60 rooms).
For each facility, the operator can claim only once from support.
Renovations eligible for aid shall be:
1 ° - regarding hotels built since more than fifteen years;
2 - To be carried out directly by the operator of the hotel, whether or not the owner;
3 ° - have been the subject of an approval of the Minister in charge of the budget as provided in Article III of undecies 217 of the General Tax Code.
The use of techniques and materials, including wood, is encouraged.
This decision relates only graded hotels and constructed over 15 years, only one hotel on the ten hotels that account Mayotte meets this definition: The Caribou, located Mamoudzou, the main town of the island in the lagoon, classified (two stars) and extensively renovated ... two years ago.
