In an interview with the french weekly L'Express, the Secretary of State for Overseas, Yves Jégo, confirms its intention to lower airfares between the mainland and overseas.
Asked by the Express: "The state has there a real flexibility to airlines face? "
Yves Jégo response: "The fact that air transport is one of the most liberalized only deprives us not of policy. As a first step, we tackle the barriers to the introduction of greater competition. The reduction of public service obligations (PSOs) between the mainland and the DOM is the first concrete translation.
