Thursday 01 May 2008
The french designer Philippe Starck in Milan presented the prototype of a small wind turbine, to Mr. All-the-world and can be installed in a garden or a terrace.
"This individual wind, affordable and democratic", as defined himself the designer, was designed in collaboration with the Italian group Pramac, a manufacturer of traditional generators recently refocused on renewable energy.
Resembling a whip kitchen clean polycarbonate with integrated motor, the subject is remarkable for its simplicity.
"Made in a lightweight material, connected to an accumulator, which produces electrical energy, it is very easy to use. And should be marketed as early as September next," said AFP Michelangelo Giombini, magazine design "Interni", organized by Green Energy Design.
"Depending on its size - there are six-, it treats between 10 to 60% of individual energy needs. And it is between 300 and 400 euros," said Philippe Starck to Figaro.
