The price of passports will fly

From 1 January 2009, the price of passports in France ... in increase significantly: 89 euros (as against 60 so far) for an adult, 45 euros for a minor over 15 years (against 15 euros) and 20 euros (free so far) for a person under 15 years.
An increase mainly due to the fact that these passports are biometric therefore have a photo and digital fingerprints, all captured in an electronic chip. Their production is controlled by the National Agency securities secured.
