Yet another reason to visit the beautiful Venice: a new contemporary art center operated by the french businessman François Pinault - the council granted a concession of 33 years-will open. A beautiful building in the triangle to the "Punta della Dogana, almost opposite the Piazza San Marco.
A disused warehouse Customs restored to 20 million euros by the Japanese Tadao Ando. The opening will take place on Saturday 6 June 2009, as scheduled by the milliardiare when it had won the tender in 2007
A few years ago, everyone predicted the death of Venice, which gradually sank in the waves of its lagoon.
