Pour entrer à Madagascar un  visa est obligatoire mais…gratuit – comme en 2011- pour un séjour touristique de 30 jours.

A partir du 29 mars prochain,  Air Madagascar modifie fortement ses programmes de vols.

Air Madagascar, la compagnie aérienne nationale malgache, propose jusqu'au 30 juin 2010 compris, des offres promotionnelles vers Antananarivo (Tananarive) et Nosy-Be (Madagascar) au départ de Paris et Marseille.

Air Madagascar lance le Pass Sésame qui permet à son titulaire de sillonner durant un mois, sans limite, les villes et les îles couverts par la compagnie aérienne dans l'Océan Indien :

On 17 June, Corsairfly resumed its flight Paris / Orly-Nosy Be Antananarivo Wednesday, 19 resumed Paris - Antananarivo on Friday, with a stopover in Dzaoudzi (Mayotte) to return. Finally, the Sunday flight Paris - Antananarivo is maintained.

Marc Ravalomanana, the elected president of Madagascar, resigned March 17 to a directory military, which handed power to opposition leader Malagasy, Andry Rajoelina. The Malagasy Constitutional Court legalized his assumption of the presidency.

It began on Monday 26 January 2009: the capital of Madagascar was ablaze following the closure of the President of Madagascar, Marc Ravalomanana, radio and then television led by Andry Rajoelina, Mayor of Antananarivo (Antananarivo), its main political opponent. Since then, several sometimes violent demonstrations took place. There are more than a hundred dead.
